Abstract
The Trebble-Bishnoi Equation of State is a four-parameter cubic equation which was developed to provide improved PVT predictions for both polar and non-polar compounds. In this work the Trebble-Bishnoi equation is used in examining the quality of two-phase vapour-liquid equilibrium predictions for 21 binary systems and three ternary systems. Three phase vapour-liquid- liquid equilibrium was also examined for one ternary system. Optimized binary interaction coefficients to be used with this equation were determined for the 21 binary systems.
