Abstract
The article discusses the exaggerated credentials of job applicants in Canada. It mentions the growing interests of job seekers in inflating their credentials to give an edge against other applicants, particularly during recessionary times when competition is stiff and jobs are scarce. The anticipation that the deceptive act might justify the dismissals of employees is also emphasized.
