Abstract
eHealth Home Care Applications: There are currently many areas where basic telecommunications and power infrastructure is available; however, this infrastructure is insufficient to properly support a complete information and communications technology (ICT) environment. The use of cheap mobile handheld devices such as Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and Smart Phones can provide many of the benefits of ICT to these areas. This type of device has already been successfully used to provide data collection services, improved health care delivery by monitoring sets of patients and providing knowledge management by providing decision making support and making large amounts of reference materials easily available.Sponsorship
