Abstract
While educational development exists for educators with regards to academic integrity, it is often couched in terms of preventing violations of integrity (Serviss, 2016). A phenomenon that is addressed less often is how and why faculty members must assess with integrity, or resist the worldwide trend (Baker, 2018) towards grade inflation. In this session, we explore various aspects of grade inflation, drawing comparisons between Canada and the UK.
