Abstract
Keynote address presented at the Centre for Research on Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE) 2022 Symposium "Challenging Cheating". This keynote addresses how and why academic integrity research is a transdisciplinary field of scholarship. This includes a discussion of various methodological and theoretical approaches used in academic integrity research, as well as examples of current research projects that are transdisciplinary in nature. The idea of academic misconduct as a "wicked problem" is discussed.
