Abstract
This study makes use of data gathered in a 1994 study of gambling and problem gambling in Alberta by Wynne and colleagues. This study is a secondary data analysis and a more detailed analysis of problem gamblers in Alberta and describes problem gamblers demographically, in terms of their residency, gaming preferences (including video lottery terminals), motivations for gambling, addictions and recovery from gambling.
