Abstract
Through funding from the Alberta Knowledge Network and in partnership with University Information Technologies, the University of Calgary Library renovated the public services areas on the second floor of the MacKimmie Library to provide a new facility that combines information technology and traditional library services, including instruction, so that all library users have the space, technology, instruction, and assistance to do research, prepare papers and presentations, and support course work.
