Abstract
The research design is a descriptive telephone survey of a random sample of 1,848 Saskatchewan adults 19 years-of-age and older. A survey questionnaire based on the new Canadian Problem Gambling Index (CPGI) guided the telephone interviews, and the survey achieved a 60% response rate, with results for the sample being accurate within ±2.3% nineteen times out of twenty.
