Abstract
This study looks at the issue of problem gamblers in British Columbia and advocates the need for the provision of programs to identify and treat this illness. It also examines the various theories of problem gambling, gambing environments around the world, the prevalence of problem gambling, and policy responses. This project was submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Business Administration in the Faculty of Business Administration, Simon Fraser University.
