Abstract
The article offers information on the R. v. Keegstra, a Supreme Court of Canada case, which covers freedom of expression in Canada. It says that Jim Keegstra, a teacher from Eckville, Alberta, was charged with promotion of hatred against Jews in his teaching while he was a teacher. It says that Supreme Court of Canada upheld the conviction against Keegstra and the Alberta Court of Appeal sentenced him with one year suspension, one year probation, and 200 hours of community service.
