Abstract
The Ministry of Attorney-General, through the auspices of the Co-ordinated Law Enforcement Unit, has decided to look into the issue of off-track betting, and especially to study the major argument put forth in favour of the legalization of off-track betting: that it would reduce the number of illegal book-makers and consequently have a major effect on organized crime.
