Abstract
Insight Canada Research is pleased to present the Prevalence of Problem &
Pathological Gambling in Ontario Using The South Oaks Gambling Screen, a survey
conducted on behalf of the Canadian Foundation on Compulsive Gambling (Ontario).
A total of 1,200 telephone interviews with Ontario residents between the ages of 18 and
74 were conducted between July 23 and August 1, 1993. Overall results are accurate to
plus or minus 2.9%, nineteen times out of twenty. A response rate of 65% was obtained.
