The authors, each with their own independent history of study of fear and fearlessness have recently been in dialogue (Fisher living in America as a Canadian; Subba living in Hong Kong as a Nepalese) and are creating a synthesis of a growing movement called philosophy of fearism (Fisher and Subba, 2016).
