The purpose of this study was to ascertain how program evaluation was taught in Canadian Universities. This includes the importance placed up on program evaluation in a research context as well as the guiding parameters used to monitor the subject. A survey research design was employed to collect and analyze data from course curriculums via course out lines, syllabi, and calendar information. The major finding of the study was that no consistent program evaluation content exists within or across universities. The frequency and cross-tabulation statistical findings provided evidence for the summarized findings , These findings suggest the need for the development of a standard basic curriculum design for teaching program evaluation at the university level in Canada.
