This presentation covers the current ebook landscape, how discovery and access challenges can be met, and how the future landscape can be formed to better meet the needs of users. The presentation reviews how the University of Calgary and Royal Roads University facilitate discovery and access to ebooks currently. It also presents the results of a broader survey of access management techniques in academic libraries across Canada and the United States.engAttribution Non-Commercial Share-Alike 3.0 UnportedCataloguingDiscovery platformsEbooksAcademic librariesCanadaUnited StatesLink resolversFederated searchExLibris Primo Central, MetalibSerials Solutions Summon, 360 SearchOCLC WorldCat Local, ZPORTAL,EBSCO Discovery Service, Integrated SearchInnovative Interfaces Encore DiscoveryTDNet Searcher AnalyzereBook Discovery and Access: We Want It Now!Presentation10.11575/PRISM/29775
