The main rationale behind these images is the desire to investigate truth as the source of power that has forged the very core of photographic thought. The accompanying support paper begins with a brief historical analysis of the aspect of truth in art and explores how this belief has influenced the photographic medium. Straight and alternative photography are examined, as well as a discussion on the use of syntax and the relationship of photographic truth to the digital and electronic media.
