There were 96 participants; 66.7% men, and 33.3% women with an average age of 34 years. Participants completed standardized measures of job satisfaction, workplace attitudes, bicultural competence, English acculturation, and social support. ANOVA and t-test analyses revealed that there were no differences in job satisfaction based on gender or age group, but that workers who had been in Canada for less than one year had significantly lower job satisfaction than those who had been in Canada for more than five years. A regression analysis showed that as workers’ perceptions of a more inclusive workplace environment and social support increased, so did their reported level of job satisfaction.
