Harriette Hemmasi will relate the evolution of the Digital Scholarship Lab, outlining the journey and vision for this innovative space at Brown University. The Digital Scholarship Lab is a collaborative, interactive, student-focused learning environment designed to pioneer research, development and deployment of scholarly applications which leverage the potential of a large video wall and touch-enabled devices that can display specially designed high resolution content along with all forms of multimedia content from the web and other external sources. The installment will complement Brown’s high performance computing and will serve many of the unique teaching, learning, and research needs of Brown faculty and students across the disciplines.eng
