This paper re-presents the research/artworks I have conducted/lived/produced between September 2014 and Summer 2016. Its primary objective is to better situate my Thesis Performance, collate | the collective inside, within the larger framework of an iterative creative research practice. Through the practices of installation and performance art, I have sought to investigate, identify, and present alternative ways in which to perceive and inhabit our shared and overlapping lifeworlds; other ways to inhabit the world | other ways of being with re-presents the projects I have undertaken with this objective in mind over the past two years. I contextualize my position within contemporary art by briefly touching on artists whose artwork and/or practices operate with similar aims to my own. At the end of the document, I provide an appendix of personally relevant, redefined terms, which relate to concepts and themes that have impelled and shaped much of my research and cultural production to date.en_US
