dc.description.abstractThis Master's Degree Project deals with inf ill, residential housing. Its major focus is the i,ncozporation of energy conserving techniques within the unit and site design. The visual integration of the project with the surrounding neighbourhood and the creation of a housing environment suitable for families, are also important considerations. Following a description of the design rational, an analysis of the proposed design examines energy use and economic implications of energy saving features. It is intended that thee written documentation and accompanying graphics will serve as a guide in understanding and interpreting the design drawings which follow the text.eng
