dc.description.abstract	This report presents the findings of a state-wide survey of gambling involvement and problem gambling in Washington State. This is the first such study initiated and funded by a lottery in the United States. A random sample of 1,502 Washington State residents aged 18 and over was interviewed in October and November of 1992 about the types of gambling in which they had ever participated, the amounts of money they spend on gambling, and about problems related to their gambling.	en
