dc.description.abstract	This report consists of four sections. In the first, problem gambling is defined and a schematic overview of resources currently available in the province to deal with the problem gambler and the social consequences of problem gambling is provided. The second outlines a possible framework for developing a response to the problem. The third section briefly addresses the issue of financing the developing response to problem gambling. The fourth provides some direction on regulatory issues and lists areas that the Committee currently believes warrant further investigation and consideration.	en
