dc.description.abstractThe following project provides a brief description and analysis of the oil sector in four oil exporters: Canada, Mexico, Norway and Venezuela. This study uses the correlation analysis to understand the relationship of oil income and the economic, environmental and social performance. In addition, it provides the basic tools for a future research regarding to how the oil sector could contribute to achieve a sustainable development in the oil countries.
