| dc.description.abstract | This report presents the results of the first survey of gambling and problem gambling among adolescents in Nevada. The main purpose of this study was to assess the extent of gambling and problem gambling among adolescents in Nevada. A sample of Nevada residents aged 13 to 17 (N=1,004) was interviewed between March and May, 2001, about the types of gambling they have tried, the amounts of money they spend on gambling and about gambling-related difficulties. The results of this study are intended to assist in the development of services in Nevada for youth with gambling problems and their families. | eng |
