dc.description.abstract | In Alberta, lottery revenues have grown dramatically since 1983/84 and are used for a wide variety of programs and services. This growth has led to concerns about such matters as the use of lottery revenues, the accountability of these revenues, the impacts of video lottery terminals and casinos, and the problem of gambling addiction. This document reviews and discusses those issues, and provides questions to be considered by the public in a series of meetings to be held by the Alberta Lotteries Review Committee. | en |
