dc.description.abstract	Pursuant to the terms of reference, the Working Group gathered information concerning lotteries and gaming policy from public and private sources. To expedite research in a number of areas concurrently, sub-committees were struck to study the social impact of gaming, economic impact of gaming, all aspects of gaming operations and to review Addictions Foundation of Manitoba (AFM) program funding and operational effectiveness. Representatives of these groups and the Chairman formed the public hearings panel. Findings from each sub-committee's research were incorporated into the final document.	en
