Abstract
The modeling and analysis of routes and networks has been studied
widely in computer science and other disciplines due to its large number of
applications. Some of these include the planning of transportation routes,
Internet routing and the location of emergency facilities. This paper will
include a look at some topology-based methods for storing and analyzing
routes, including the use of ArcGIS, as well as a look at Voronoi diagrams.
Some potentially relevant network analysis methods will be discussed as well.
