The following report presents the results of a survey regarding the nature and extent of
gambling and gambling problems among adults 60 years and over in Ontario. The survey was
part of a larger prevalence study with individuals 18 years and older under a grant from the Ontario Problem Gambling Research Centre. The study is intended to determine the characteristics and prevalence of gambling and problem gambling among older Ontario adults, examine factors related to problem gambling, and discuss the implications of these findings for addressing gambling problems among older adults.
