Item Open Access Fisher Responds to Michael Moore: On Fear/Terror(In Search of Fearlessness Research Institute, 2018-09-23) Fisher, R. M.Dr. R. Michael Fisher, founder and director of The Fearology Institute and a long time researcher-educator and artist, responds to Michael Moore's recent tv interview with Amy Goodman (of Democracy Now)--the topic is Moore's newest political documentary "Fahrenheit 11/9". Fisher picks out a key moment in the interview where Moore asks people to (more or less) be motivated by fear/terror to bring down the current American regime and stop the elites from running the country. Fisher, offers his respectful critique and an alternative, both embracing Moore's contribution but going beyond it based on fearological analysis. We have to understand the culture of fear we are all embedded in so that we don't reproduce it--continuing the 'Fear' Matrix and Fear's Empire.Item Open Access Love-Fear: Uni-Bicentric Theorem as Basis for the Fearlessness Movement(In Search of Fearlessness Research Institute, 2017) Fisher, R. M.This is the latest articulation and upgraded version of the Love vs. Fear theory/discourse found universally across historical time. The author traces a summary of his own working with these "forces" under the label of archetypal metamotivation. His own articulation of the Fear Problm is only part of a more encompassing Uni-Bicentric Theorem he discovered and has promoted for 28 years, all as part of the Fearlessness Movement/Tradition....Item Open Access Michael Moore Meets Fearologist II(In Search of Fearlessness Research Institute, 2018-11-02) Fisher, R. M.This is the 2nd follow-up video by Dr. R. Michael Fisher to his Youtube video on the Michael Moore interview with Amy Goodman of Democracy Now (go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ga5BZ...). Fisher responds to some critics who thought he was "too hard" on Moore. This lecture includes Fisher's discussion of why he and Moore (and other critics) are not talking about the same structures of ways of thinking about "fear." Fisher outlines four contexts for understanding fear (and 'fear') and why there is a dynamic interrelationship between these contexts of motivation re: fear. His perspective, he argues, is from the Fear Management System 7 level (i.e., Fearlessness).
