Abstract
This interactive session discusses the development of a professional development program in which student teachers collaboratively reflect and design authentic language assessments (ALA). ALAs promote ELLs’ academic language by connecting classroom activities with engaging real-world activities essential for success in English classroom. Participants will engage in reviewing our newly-developed ALAs.
