The author reviews issues of the day that are part of a global crisis in relationship to fear. Then he distinguishes those fear problems from his own theorizing after 31 years of study and publishing on fear, what he means by the “Fear Problem.” Only when theoreticians, the professionals and the public make important distinctions in their discourses on fear will they come to more effective solutions to the Fear Problem.en_US
