Jim Vaughan will discuss the renovation of the Special Collections Research Center’s public spaces, a project undertaken thanks to the economic and logistical benefits of synchronizing the renovation with the construction of the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library. The new, state-of-the-art Exhibition Gallery and renovated research and teaching spaces are located on the pathway between the Joseph Regenstein Library and the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library, thus creating greater visibility for the Special Collections Research Center. The new and renovated spaces provide flexible, technology-equipped facilities for the presentation, interpretation, and consultation of primary sources by individuals, groups, and classes.eng
